Annual company compliance
WHAT YOU GET
Annual work depends on the company's financial year, activities and transactions. We turn the agreed obligations into a working plan that connects accounting, approvals and filing preparation.
A view of recurring obligations, internal preparation dates and responsible people.
Board records, statutory information and supporting documents prepared for review.
An open issue list, submission acknowledgements and a clear handover trail.
THE WORK, MADE VISIBLE
Agree what is prepared, what your team supplies and how the work is reviewed.
| Workstream | What we prepare | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Corporate records | Company details, registers, board and shareholder records | Identify missing information before preparing returns |
| Annual filing preparation | Financial statement filing and annual return work within scope | Reconcile the forms with approved company records |
| Event tracking | Changes in directors, capital, ownership or company details | Keep event driven work separate from annual filings |
| Completion record | Submission receipts, open queries and next actions | Management can see what is complete and what remains |
HOW WE WORK
The engagement starts with your records and priorities. Each stage has a defined next step.
Collect the incorporation documents, previous acknowledgements, accounts and list of outstanding matters.
Agree the relevant period, recurring work and event driven filings. Record the preparation dates and dependencies.
Assemble the records, resolve gaps and coordinate approvals and the appointed professionals.
Retain filing acknowledgements and query responses. Update the calendar and hand over the company record.
BUILD THE RIGHT ENGAGEMENT
Company compliance is one part of the subsidiary's obligations. Foreign investment reporting, transfer pricing, tax, GST and payroll need separate applicability checks. Make the connections explicit in the calendar.
A parent team's reporting deadline can arrive before local statutory work is complete. Plan management reporting separately so neither team mistakes draft figures for approved accounts.
An annual retainer should not conceal a change in directors, a share issue or a change of registered office. Capture the planned event early and agree its approvals, records and filing scope.
If older filings are missing, establish the backlog before starting the current year. Preparation work depends on the underlying accounts and corporate records being consistent.
Specify the financial year, entities, deliverables, meetings, record maintenance and query support included. Identify government charges, additional filing fees and separate professional work.
The company approves its records and retains its statutory responsibilities. Audit, certification and other signatory work sit with the appropriately appointed professional.
YOUR QUESTIONS
Clear expectations make a better engagement.
Inactivity does not by itself remove a company's obligations. Review its status, reporting period and applicable filings before deciding the scope.
They are included only when expressly listed. The proposal should distinguish corporate filings, tax, GST, payroll and foreign investment reporting.
Start with the company records, past filings and open matters. We identify missing information and agree the handover and any reconstruction work.
Much of the preparation and coordination can be handled digitally. We identify the approvals, signatures and other participation required from the company at the start.
