# Oman to India document planning checklist

This worksheet helps prepare a document review. The final filing and bank requirements depend on the investor and transaction.

Confirm whether the investor is an Oman company or an individual resident. Then separate company records, personal evidence and documents signed for the Indian incorporation.

Oman's Foreign Ministry directs its document attestation service through Oman Post. Check the current submission channel and the specific apostille requirement before handing over the file. An ordinary attestation request should not be assumed to cover every requirement for use in India.

For example, an expatriate resident's passport and an Oman company's records can need different preparation. Review each document's origin before arranging one appointment for the whole file.
